An education
A coming-of-age story about a teenage girl in 1960s suburban London, and how her life changes with the arrival of a playboy nearly twice her age. 'The film's title has a double meaning, one scholastic, the other sentimental. First, it refers to her sixth-form work at a Twickenham girls' school, the prize pupil of Miss Stubbs (Olivia Williams), her intense English teacher, and the imminent prospect of winning a place at Oxford that will transform her life. learning from experiences and times
The group met up today and discussed all of our options we came up with student life and how to live it after watching the advert above.
I'm a university student and there has been a lot to learn and experience while i've been here. Being a student is a very hard time but can also be very enjoyable! We have to grow and learn and become adults who are fully independant and understand life! At the start its a very confusing time for every student. Infact they almost need an education in being a student.
There needs to be a good balence between working, sleeping, eating healthily and socailising:
Our group have decided to do the 'dos' ans 'donts' of student life! This will include student eating and drinking habits, Work and sleep patterns and lonliness and social aspects.

Student life is made out to be fun and exciting but it can all be totally different.
The university 'idea'
I love this picture how its showing the young man doing what he loves while always being attacked by the amount of work and surrounded by the lecture room's walls.
From films and 'talk' university sounds crazy and perfect!When i first arrived i was so lonely and lost, people should be there to help you get out and make friends! Images may have got that point across to me a lot better because i could interact with the models.

University is a great time for everyone to experience things, Students will be working out what they want from life, their sexuality, creating a new identity!
When new students get to uni, they need to get out there and make friends, these friends may stay with you for the rest of your life.
You should never go out drinking/clubbing without your friends because you are so vunrable when drunk
Our Group met up again on the 11th of april and decided that we were going to follow one girl as our student and show the do's and don'ts of uni life, we still have to decide on a documentary fashion look or a full on fashion look.
Locations:
Avenham park is well known in preston so although we looked there for a shoot we also ventured out to some woods near Sophie's house to find some different and original scenes.
Possible main models:
Hannah Collinge, Age 20 -A student with modelling experience so should work really well for this project.

Although Hannah has had a bit of modelling experience she is not a professional which means that these two will be perfect for the shoot as we want them to be relaxed and not posed. Our final idea is to create a set of images that would give 'an education' or guidlines to being a student, the dos and don't of student life.

Shoot one - do make friends, get yourself out there - Pictures of models out in a park/ woods
dont isolate yourself - Pictures of hannah on her own
Shoot two - do cook healthily - pictures of hannah cooking/ with veg - in the kitchen or my house
dont - opt for the take aways and junk food - hannah stuffing her face with pizza - in the living room of my house
Shoot three - Do concerntrate and time manage - hannah studying in her room
Dont get easily distracted and mess around - hannah on her phone, dancing messing about
Shoot four - Do go out and have fun but make sure you stay safe and stick with your friends- Hannah with a friend in a taxi on the way home -chatting and happy
Dont get trashed and vunerable- hannah messed hair and make up / being dragged out of the taxi by an unknown man!
